Anybody any idea how often Garmin Update their speed camera database?

I activated my "free months trial" last month and it's due to expire soon....no new updates as yet!

Thought about taking their subscription out but might not bother if they don't regularly update?

I don't think you get updates on the free trial.

I subscribed for a year and updates seem to be at least once per month so far.

There sh*t, just a constant annoying bonging all over the midlands motorway system, why you can't select which cameras you need alerting too I don't know,:blast when there haven't been roadworks with average camera's in for 6m+ and it still keeps going off proves they hardly update at all:mad:

On the recommendation of a friend I started subscribing to pocketgpsworld.com's (http://www.pocketgpsworld.com) speed camera database (UK & Europe). They seem to update it every 7 to 10 days. I couldn't get the speed camera icons to show up on my 660 but after searching found a thread about saving them as 16bit bmp files. After that they are working fine and show up okay.

Also downloaded speed camera database for an older GPS unit (£50 of eBuyer) I have running MioMaps 3.0. One thing I like about MioMaps is that you can set the GPS unit to sound an overspeed warning. Quite handy and wish the Zumo 660 could do the same. I have searched through all the menus and the manuals and there does not seem to be any way of setting an overspeed warning. The detail of the actual roads seems a bit clearer on the Miomap. Had them both running together and it was easier to see the layout of the approaching road and the junctions on the Miomap.

The membership included a free download of RoadTour 500 which is quite a handy audio visual application covering 500 of the most outstanding locations in the UK.
