After a great 2 weeks in Morocco I'm eager for more African adventures. Is anyone considering the Budapest - Bamako in Jan 2011?

Parts of the site are a bit outdated and there does not seem to be much information available elsewhere on the web. On the official forum it was mentioned only 8-10 bikes took part and the rest were all low budget cars.
It's cheap (apart from getting the bike back home), the "amateur" category is not a race as such and it seems good to have a schedule, other riders and an organization backing you up.
I don't plan to "race" but I do like keeping a good steady pace, find my own limits and cover a lot of ground. I'm on a 650 Dakar.
Anyone interested?
