It was over 5 years ago when it all started

And you count as one of the earliest adopters

I've only had mine for 3 years. Still loving it. Still learning a lot from it (like 60mph is fast when hitting tough pot holes is enough to cause tube punctures). :blast

I one set on mine :p

Although I do have a spare set in the garage :augie

Funny that I bought my HP2 exactly 3 years ago on the 19th May - don't regret it one bit and still loving every moment on it with bad forks and all :D

Strangely enough when it came out I was one of the first people who said it's stupid/ugly and just plain wrong. Boy was I just plain stupid/ugly and wrong :blast :D

Bought mine the day it went in show in Jefferies, went in saying to my partner " I only want to look " still love it.

I've had mine since Autumn 2005........and only one set of forks (no clonk), despite regular off-road activity. :augie

Now got three sets of wheels, two for off-road, one street (supermoto). :)

I'm thinking of getting a set of supermoto wheels for my G450X, so may have to sell one set of the off-road wheels for the HP2 to fund them. :blast

hp2 still

I've had my hp2 between four and five years. I picked up a cycle trader just to look at stuff and saw the adverisement for the hp2. Had one parked in my garage the next day. This was the bmw I always wanted. Also my first beemer. Now years later it is by far my favorie bike I have ever owned and I have been riding for more then forty years and owned pretty much every kind of bike including harley davidson(mostly to teach me to slow down now that I am older) I know I should find a low miles hp2 and park it in the garage for when I wear this one out. 30,000 miles with long distance road rides,100 mile offroad rides it is the best do everything bike I've had so far. Not one moment of regret...............Richard

Oooh :eek ... how did Simo Kirssi get away with not breaking a leg on that last hill. Love the way he twisted the bike around and calmly rode it back down again.
