After getting the bike from Dave. A service, new tyres and sorting out the seat. I went down through France, onto Berne in Switzerland then off to Chamonix to do some mountain biking. Got to see the tour de france then back through France home to Lancashire. 3,000 mile round trip in 8 days and did not miss a beat. Not bad for a rusty 20 year old evo.
Over winter, she has been took apart and has had a long shopping list of parts fitted. Painted (mostly in black powder coating).
Took her out for the test run tonight and been in garage tonight with my torque wrench making sure nothing has come loose. All ok apart from a couple of brackets.
Looking forward to putting some miles on her this year. Give us a wave....
