Hi,
My friend and I are doing a trip from Alaska to Argentina covering 22,000 miles in 90 days, roughly 370 miles a day average.
We are doing the trip in aid of the Colin McRae Vision charity, this charity was born after the tragic helicopter crash in2007 that claimed the lives of Colin, his 5 year old son Johnny and two family friends.
The aim of the charity is to help in childrens health and education in different places throughout the world.
An example of some of the work they are helping with are, £35,000 donation towards a special care ambulance to the Yorkhill childrens hospital Scotland, a high speed response vehicle for the same hospital and vital x-ray equipment donated to a childrens hospital in Carlos Paz in Argentina.
Our aim is to raise £1 a mile for the vision giving us a target of £22,000.
The money raised by our trip is likely going to a cause in Aberdeenshire which should be announced shortly.

Our trip is called Mainly Due South and you can read a little more about it at www.mainlyduesouth.com

If anyone feels able to donate towards this great charity please visit our justgiving site www.justgiving.com/mainlyduesouth or follow the link through our website, all donations are welcome however large or small.

Thanks for reading
Chris
