TomTom- I cannot get my pc or Mac to rcognise the device

Hi,

Really it says it all in the title, I can't get the device to be picked up either on a works pc or on my mac ...

What am I doing wrong?

is

this a new problem? i.e. have you been able to connect with these systems before. If not try downloading the latest version of TomTom Home and then try again.

That's sort of where I started. I had hooge problems with the TomTom about 6 months ago ... but the PC recognising it wasn't one of them !!
