At first when they came out i thought they where a bit of a fad but after touring Europe especially Germany and Austria i realise how big they are over there compared with here.

There are race tracks everywhere and they have had them for over 10 years.
KTM obviously dominate the market with husky's and aprilla a close second , i feel sorry for CCM as you have to dominate your own home market before you can expand thats exactly what KTM did.
But because this country is so Sporty horsepower mad it didn't work for them.
I have grown to like them as a pure fun bike (isn't that what its all about?) and not how big your dick is between your legs.
Live and let live but these 150bhp+ machines are just waisted over here, do you really need more than 80 or 90bhp?

Pay a whacking insurance and ride an R1 for three months of the year-DOH!
My mate is into sports bikes and gave up the road months ago in favour of track days only, and wished he had done it years ago.
