oil clooler for 450 exc

Why would you want one? surely this is just something else that could leak or get damaged in a fall?

Out of interest do you have a cooling fan fitted to the offside radiator?

well im off to do the Tuareg Rally, and the 450 is prone to a little over heating in the desert I believe!.. I am fitting a fan as well, a lot of the ADV bunch are fitting the Ht and getting considerable better resilience out of the oil. If I dont have to do an oil change every night after 13 hours in the saddle, it will be a bonus:)

If I was just using it as a pogo I wouldn't bother..

If you use a really good fully-synthetic oil of the correct grade, you really shouldn't need this.

As Bakes points out, there's shipping, duty and VAT to pay when it lands. I would guess that it's going to be a £450 accessory by the time you've fitted it. Is it worth it on an '03 bike?
