wheel bearings

Hello, I'm just about to have a 1100s front wheel machined for a speedo drive, I'm having the wheel powder coated aswell, so after checking on new wheel bearings I found one is 10 and the other is about 30 pounds, would there be any problems having the wheel machined to take the cheaper ones? Just an idea, nearly have all parts for my cast wheel conversion!
