Do modern single cylinder trail-bikes have cush drives? The reason I ask is that I have a slow-burner of a project to turn a scrofulous 350 Bullet I bought off e-bay into a green lane bike. The options for the back wheel are to either rebuild the rear wheel with an 18" alloy rim, or buy a complete rear wheel off a more modern (but still drum-braked) trail bike and make it fit. This may be a cheaper, lighter option, but would loose the cush drive from the hub. I'm not sure how useful it would be in off-road conditions to have a cush, hence my question. Any ideas?

Cheers, Jon
