Brake pads, mag wheels.

I made a boo boo with ordering some tyres in the past , because my 1995 gs1100 has 3 spoke mag wheels fitted of another model 17" front 18" rear my question is are the brake pads the same for both models? brembo discs of course which i think i am right in saying that some discs are larger than others, thanks in advance .
