better lights on a 1200GS?

Hi folks,

Has anyone put any auxilary lighting on their 12GS or found a way to make the standard lights better? After coming home from afternoon shift last night I need some better lights for when my GS comes in september!
I`ve got a pair of PIAA 120 watt driving lights I had fitted on my old Impreza Turbo & was wondering if they would fit as I`ve seen a few 1150GS`s with bigger lights such as these on.

Have you tried it in the dark................?

Did nearly 500 miles on my 1200GS yesterday, including about 200 across the Scottish Borders/Northumberland in the dark/fog.......

The OE lighting is superb & much better than my 1150RT and from what I gather here, better than the 1150 GS standard lighting.........

Try before you buy..............?

I`ve got these lights anyway & don`t pick my bike up until the middle of september so can`t comment on the OE lights yet!!
 
But they will be very bright :)

Not sure on the legal situation, but you're unlikely to get into trouble if they are properly wired as "driving lights" that only come on with full beam, I would think.
