The reason for buying the BMW?

In May we (the group I ride with) had our first venture into Europe (Normandy Beaches) and my ZX10R almost killed my arse and the tank range, although better than some was a pain, the luggage strapped to the rear seat was also a bit iffy although I did invest in the Kriega kit. This in addition to realising I now want more from my riding and a necessity to slow down a bit, although the last part hasn't really happened and on Sunday I received my first road side caution for speeding :eek anyway that aside I'm still bonding with the bike and there are days when I think what have I bought, although thats more to do with the size and weight of the bike as I'm only a mere munchkin (5' 8") with little legs (28" inside leg) and with the last point in mind I now need to go and post loads of posts regarding different seats :pullface

See you around :thumb2

Hi Dal, & welcome! Variety is the spice of life eh? :D

Hope you enjoy the GS. Maybe after a few trips you might decide it's a keeper!

And you never know...maybe the next entry on the inventory will be: R1200GSA (trackbike) :thumb2
