Hello good and gentle folks.
I don't yet own a GS but I am working on it.
I have only been riding for three years and started on a 883 custom Harley and soon discovered that I have a love of b roads and unclassified roads.
Bring on the mud and gravel and I am a happy bunny.
I sold the Harley and got a Kawasaki versys and in all honesty it is a fantastic bike but after two years I have decided it is time for a change.
Having 17 inch road tyres on it the versys struggles a bit off road and it could use slightly longer legs for the inevitable A roads and motorways between the fun roads.
I am thinking that the 800 GS is the perfect compromise between agility and power.
Alan Jefries have offered me a good deal on the px of my versys but I have a Harley I need to get rid of as well and there offer on that is bordering on insulting.
My Harley is on eBay at the moment and with a bit of luck it will be gone in a few days and a GS will be mine.
