WW1 battle of Verdun, GPS 49.5292 5.6005 near Duzey. Signposted "Site du canon allemand"

It fired the opening round to start the battle of Verdun

Was here on Mon,very interesting site,came upon it by chance after noting the wee sign on the main road then i remembered seeing this post and checked when i got home
