If it's brown it's good

If itr's brown and yellow it's TRO'd

If it's pissy green it's a good UCR

There are a few UCR not defined

I suggest you check it against lanes you know to ensure you're reading it correctly

I've not been able to establish if the road linking the two Byways in this picture is a legal UCR.... anybody know?

Now that the Old Bourne is out of bounds this would be a usefull addition to a hertforshire route

No idea, but if it was me I'd call the Hertfordshire's rights of way officer, or take a drive up to that farm, introduce myself and speak to the farmer who likely owns or farms that chunk of land.
