Yes its a 750 Triumph Metisse. Engine is a 1978 Silver Jubilee engine in a 1989 frame made by CRM in Bristol. I agree about the red bits. They need to be black or polished but ive got enough to do so for the time being....:ChrisKelly

Insider Classic

Lovely 'meaty' motorcycle,love it,although i'm a BSA man myself!
The picture & tyre comment made me laugh, thanks, with observations like that you MUST be an Advanced Rider?:thumb

Any views.... yes, shame a nice bike like that gets hidden away in the corner of someone's spare room and not ridden:nenau

PS paint the green bits red :p

Well, is it a Metisse or not? Will it be ridden as intended?:augie

Metisse 750

Will be ridden when weather warmer and tyres will be changed for Michelin trials tyres. Actually there is not any oil leaking out of the engine. Unfortunately I could not read what had been written on the picture above the bike. Doubtless something inappropiate:ChrisKelly

Errr wasn't the Silver Jubilee in 1977? and that appears to have Amal MK2 carbs fitted onto the later T140D/E style head :augie

Knobbly tyres then spank her up The Ridgeway :thumb2

Silver Jubilee WAS 1977 (maybe this was one of the many that didnt sell ...so registered 1978.)

Lovely bike, but lose the RED bits, and I dont like the chromed primary chaincase (or is it just over polished?)

Love the later one shown too,,,
