New GSA rider!

Great forum!

Just got myself a new R1200GS Adventure Triple Black and I'm loving it!

Looking forward to putting a load of miles on it this year and I have a European trip booked already - might squeeze another in too if I'm lucky! With that and a few weekends away I'm intending to get as much out of it as possible.

I'm used to bikes which are a little faster..... however, the whole riding position (and the fact I have points not prizes on my licence!) has me converted. It will take some getting use to I have no doubt (indicators, front end etc) but it's going to be a much more relaxed ride for me which can't be a bad thing!

I think I got a pretty good deal - I got them down to a point where they wouldn't budge any further so I guess I did alright.

I'm pleased with the deal and the bike - I just need to rack up the miles!!
