Hi,
I've just bought a helmet from GEH007.
He's informed me that Royal Mail want £17 to send it to Cork as opposed to £5 for UK.
Are there less expensive options that don't require major hassle?

Jim.

The last two lids I've posted from Norn Iron to the UK cost £15 and £12 respectively (both Parcel Force and before the recent price hikes), so I doubt that it would cost as little as a fiver. You also have to remember that posting from the UK to Southern Ireland is classed as International, so you will pay more.

Helmets

I have bought two from the uk and paid approximately 20 bucks sterling in postage each. Make sure it is well wrapped with bubble wrap . His estimate is about right.

Where is it

Send it here I bring to bogroast

If its.local I go get

Used to be cheap on weight but they take size
into consideration now

Excellent. :thumb Thank you, sir.
I owe you a beer or two this weekend.
Not sure what part he's in.
Would you mind PMing him with your address.
He's GEH007

Hopefully that will work out alright for you Jim. If for any reason it doesn't you can have it sent to me and I'll put it in a truck going down to the real capital. :thumb2

Thanks, Aidan. :thumb
Probably sorted now.
No point in going to any hassle for the sake of £12 but no point in wasting it either if there's an easy alternative.
If needs be, I'll get back to you.
