Chipper in Tramore?

Used to be a lovely one "Cunninghams" up on the hill. Think it's renamed now.

Take the main road into Tramore, don't go down by the arcades. You'll come to a crossroads very close to the sea (should be a night club on the left - used to be called the Hibernian or Hi-B). Take that right up the hill and I think the chipper is on the left.

Warning..... that was around 15 years ago when I was last there!

Doolys is what you are looking for...http://www.doolys.ie/

Yumm..........highly recommended. Try their fishcakes.:beerjug:

PS. Essjay, After Cunninghams were taken over by an Eastern European 'company', they went bust/closed down, and Dooly's then took over/open in the old site on Main Street

Hiya Bin,

Maps are on the webpage linked, but here ye go

Strand Street, Tramore N52 09.563 W7 08.993
Main Street, Tramore N52 09.730 W7 09.148

They also have a place near the Peoples Park in the city (though local opinion has it that the chips are better in Tramore - must be the sea air!)
Its here: N52 15.450 W7 06.167

Hi,

Cannot see the first one in Google Street View, but I suppose it must be there somewhere. Right near the sea, so it fulfills the requirements......
