Rotterdam to Baden Baden & beyond route

Looking for some advice and route knowledge:

3 of us arriving on the Hull - Rotterdam ferry next Thursday morning at about 8.00am, rough plan is to start to travel down to Baden Baden area on the Thursday, we then have no real plans apart from a night near the Nurbergring on Saturday night before heading back to Rotterdam to get the ferry back on Sunday night.

We did Rotterdam to Baden Baden as the first leg of our trip.

Head south to Antwerp and then to Spa (F1). Great region :thumb2

Then drop down the border between Germany and Luxembourg following the Mosel river.

Then cut the corner off across France before BB.

Agree with this and the road from Bitche heading South West towards Baden Baden through the Northern Vosges is a bit special
