Alwinton 2 day - good video

Good little vid of last weekend's trial a 2 dayer

Set high up in the Cheviots at Alwinton, looks a good trial with sensible sections

Might do it next year, good way to ride on those hills legally when normally you wouldn't get a sniff

Alwinton trials are great, I'm sure Harry Norman and Seaton Deleval club run them. They hold the Infamous Little Bear time and obsevationTrial in that area.

There's 2 bits of ground in the same area, Seaton Delaval have one, the Bedlington club have the other, I've ridden their trials there a few times, always excellent. Harry Norman deserves a medal for his dedication to the sport, got into it through his son, never even ridden a trial himself. He's been observing every year at the SSDT for donkey's years as well.

It's the Bedlington club that run the 2-day, I spoke recently with Chris Wrigley who made the video, sounds like a rum do, early September I think .

I rode that a couple of times, I'm sure it used to be sponsored by Bell Trucks. Harry was always a tad lenient, I sumped out on a tree at Butsfield on Harrys section. I was clearly stuck but eventually got the wheels rolling, while I was stuck I chatted with Harry about how I hadn't seen him for a while, when I got the results he'd given me a three.
