The Tinahealy trail bike run takes place this Sunday, November 25th. The meeting time is at 10am at The Gap Pub, Ballythomas House near Gorey. The run consists of 200+ km's of road and trail.

If you ride any kind of 'Tall Tourer' this is for you. Indeed all road bikes are welcome. You don't need any specialised clothing or tyres, your road stuff will do fine for this run. But do wear full bike gear!

The run is organised by TORC, your local enduro club, it's a guided run and you're asked to donate €10 to the club. It's a six hour day, most of it is on the public road. There are 'chicken runs' around any difficult sections.

While the start point is at the Pub, a few of us will be meeting at the Eglington Service Station on the Bray Road in Cabinteely at 8.30am for a nine o'clock departure.

FYI

For anyone going to Big Trail Bike Run on Sunday.

It is a GPS based Navigation run so make sure someone in your group has a Garmin GPS with them. Alan will load the route for you, at the PUB.

Their will be plenty members going with GPS that can take people in their group if required, however if poss. bring your own so you can get the full benefit from the day.

A complementary Continental Breakfast is being provided by the Club in the Gap Bar, Ballythomas, prior to departure.

So come early have the Brekkie and get your Garmin Loaded in good time.

A finishers medal will be presented to all those who complete the route. Track logs will be inspected ( tounge in cheek) ,( Brian McGirr take Note!!)
to resolve any dispute !!

This event is run under Permit EN/12/199 from MCI. The entry fee of €10 is going to pay for this permit and other ancillary costs.

Sounds fantastic !!!!!

Really hope this becomes a regular event, no Big bike at the moment but I'd go to the next one. :clap
