Having bought a " Wee Box " of Guzzi stuff ,that is deffo for the T3
and being in the market for a complete electrickery set up , look what i dug out of the box .


Photo 1 is the Bosch unit , i have this for the Airhead . Sitting spare.
I thought i was getting another but i got

Photo 2 . A Lucas unit , it all fits when offered up ..

I know i aint going to get a straight answer , theres always 50 sides to
every story !...

Which would you run with ?
I need a complete Loom , Electronic Ign ? what have you..

I think you will find the Lucas unit is a single phase unit and the Guzzi one is a 3 phase unit.
I wouldn't mind betting the flexible cable from the stator on the lucas unit is no longer flexible after years of cycling through hot then cold and being immersed in oil also the connectors on the lucas one will be past there sell by date, if you remove them and try and fit new ones when you strip the wire back there will be no bright copper to see and hence you will have trouble making a decent connection IMHO the Lucas one is only fit for the bin.

Lucas did a three phase unit as well. How many wires in the Lucas unit phill?

If its a three wire it will be 180 watts

120W then. Not worth bothering with unless you guzzi one is kaput.
