James Sherlock has been breaking a K1 and I saw these home-bodged, lowered riders footpegs offered so thought maybe they'd make getting my feet up the last inch or two a bit less awkward.
They were pretty scruffy with some welding that might even have made Fanum's efforts look good.
Anyway, a couple of hours work with angle-grinder, files, wire brushes and paint made them just about presentable.
I'll leave the slightly scruffy rubbers on them until I've had a chance to swap the pegs over and road-test them. If they do the job, there's the possibility that it will make reaching the rear brake pedal bit of a stretch, I might make some myself, a bit neater and possibly using an after-market footrest.
