was going to buy 2610 looking around the sites cheapest is 525 but know there is a 2620 model (looks like an arial difference)anybody got any knowledge on the new model or do i just stick to the original 2610,or is there a better gps system out there any comments most welcome

2610 uses a memory card the 2620 uses a micro drive, apparantly the 2620 suffers from vibration during motorcycle use, where as the 2610 is fine.

Thats as I understand it.

You can't use the 2620 on a bike, the vibration kills the microdrive. There's a couple of threads on AdvRider about this. Stick with the 2610, and buy the biggest CF card you can find. 1GB cards are reasonably affordable nowadays.

Buy the 2610

I agree with Dave (Kropotkin), buy the 2610 and a big CF card; 2620 is not suitable for a bike.
