The idle on my 1150gsa is a little high probably around 1200-1250 rpm, I have balanced the throttle bodies and the brass screws are only about 0.5 turns out.

If I turn the right side further in to drop the idle then I cant get a balance even when the the left side is wound in to lightly seated. Cables have plenty slack and the throttle are returning to their stops with no impedance. Cold start cable looks like it has play too. Balance at 2 and 3 thousand rpm has been adjusted at right hand side cable and is spot on.

Valve clearances have been set and it has new plugs all round.

Bike has a Remus y piece with the Lambda sensor intact and Remus can. I also have the the cat code jumper mod.

Can't detect any air leaks anywhere. Any suggestions?

Sucking air somewhere.

Try spraying carb cleaner around the intake rubbers. If the revs go up you have a leak.

Cheers for the reply but I've checked all of the intake junctions with a spray and found nothing.

I'll remove the bypass screws tomorrow again and clean the passages out and check the O-rings...

Don't forget ...

... to check the bleed caps underneath the throttle body :nenau
