Lovely morning for a spin on Sukie Sue.
First one I've been passed many times with just a glance.
This time I got off the bike and walked over to it....

The next one I came across by accident, apparently the Merickans had a hand it....

If you look closely, you'll see Sukie Sue.

Benbradagh Mountain? Looks like the US Navy Radio Station (Navcommsta) which played a big part in the Cold War. Rumoured to be a nuclear bunker up there somewhere

Spot on boys. There's a road up over the mountain from the Garvagh side to the Dun given side. Unfortunately when you to the top, there are two gates locked which prevents you getting across however if there was a group, bikes could be lifted over. The two gates from the Garvagh side are just latched.

Class pics and find Superjack !!!

Woudl you get up there on a bigger bike ( 1200 tenere ) ?

No problem.
Maps show you can get right across but unfortunately there are two gates locked(chain and padlock) at the very top
which prevents getting right over.

On the Dungiven side you go up to N54 56.008
W6 52.014.
Views are great on a good day. The gates here are locked.

On the other side, Garvagh, N54 57.057 W6 49.441 (the American Road), that takes you the top. Two gates to open but no padlocks.
Just close them behind you. Road is tarmac, access to disused radio base.

Pick a nice day for a spin up for the views.
