hi just had a look on t"other gs club site the dakar in the homepage pics looks a bit different or am i under the influence?
single exhaust and seat?
anyone have any details?thanks

Mmmm i see what you mean.
exhaust simple one aftermarket can on the left hand side.
but as for the seat, looks like a number marker behind his leg.
i think he's grafted a XR subframe on.

I have a single seat on my 650GS, it's a dealer option ! It fits the Dakar as well.

I think that the pre 04 Dakar and GS model had the single pipe exhaust.
I stand to be corrected though.

You won't have to wait long

650GS had double exhaust from the work go.

He's probably using Gadwin Print Screen.

It's warming up in here at last.
im sure factory spec f 650 classic & gs have single seat only.
And for the exhaust only the gs 2000 to 05 factory spec has twin cans.
the classic and scarver (spelt wrong) have single cans.

Come on trevor god of all things f650 put us right. :confused:

Right click on the pic, left click on properties,highlight the url(address,) from right to left, and copy.
Make new post and when you want to insert the image click on the IMG button above and paste the URL into the window, then press OK and it should be in the post.

Clear as mud eh, I learnt from the FAQ section easy once you get it.
