Hello
I wondered if anyone is heading the same way at the same time? My actual dates are:
Departing from Plymouth on Sunday 30th March at 15-45 (Pont Aven). This arrives in Santander on the Monday sometime.
Return from Santander on Saturday 12th April to arrive back in Portsmouth on Sunday night at 19.45 (Cap Finistere). I`m due back at work on the Monday 14th April.
The idea is to head down to Morocco and explore as much as reasonable given the limited time without feeling too rushed. Reports on the forum say Spain has some good roads too so it would be a shame not to include some of these on the way up or down. I certainly want to enjoy the trip so destinations within Morocco will be have to be limited to avoid just rushing from place to place.
I`ll be on a 1200GSA and so its not going to be a hard core off road extravagance although some piste is anticipated.
My experience of foreign motorcycle travel is zilch. I did manage a 2 week tour of Scotland on my old GSA a couple of years ago.
That's as far as I`ve got so far.
