I've ridden a Vintage and a Chieftain. Good handling, good suspension & gearbox. Silky smooth at tickover, but got mirror blurring vibration at cruising speed - the opposite of a Harley. Strangled as standard, but the stage 1 pipes sound good. I couldn't read the red LCD display in bright sunlight, and the switchgear was horrible. I've got them down as work in progress, and am genuinely interested in what the gen 2 Chieftains will be like. I think all the dealers have demonstrators so try one for yourself.
