Planned route in Basecamp is offset from map roads

I find it odd that now any route I plan in Basecamp is displayed offset from the actual road on the screen map.

Any ideas?

Sorry - I've been away for the last two weeks with no computer access. The problem is when I'm planning a route just using basecamp. If I place a start point and then an end point and let basecamp plot a route, the highlighted route is offset from the road shown in basecamp.

Does it occur at all mapping content levels eg highest, high, medium etc?

please check that you have the same version Maps on your device AND on computer before we try to solve this for you. Oh, why not try a recalculate route in basecamp and see what happens at the same time

Hi - I had the same issue many moons ago. The cause is that your map is not aligned correctly - if you click on the blue arrow that indicates North, the map will align and the discrepancy will go away. Hope it helps.
