Hi, I have a route that takes a track/off-road over the Picos. I believe it's the only track that goes over the Picos. Does anyone know if it's still legal or has it now been closed. We are on our way to Portugal in April for some off roading, I did the Picos route about 5 years ago and it was legal then.
Thanks.

It has to stay open as there is accommodation up there. I've checked a few Spanish sites and folks are reporting trips as late as October last year - it'll still be blocked with snow just now :)

The main thing to remember is not to wander off the trail as that is always illegal wherever you are and in the Picos National Park there are more rangers about.

Picos

Hi, can I take it that it's open to motorcycles and all should be ok?

Thanks, Paul.

Yup,

There's no difference or discrimination, so if it's open to any vehicles it's open to bikes too :)
