morroco end march early april

Hi all eny body planning a trip to morroco my pal and i are going 18/03/05 untill 3/04/05 all advice welcome.

Hi Merlings,
There're 3 of us leaving Plymouth on Sunday 20th March. A quick bimble down through Spain and hope to be in the Moroccan sunshine by Thursday 24th.
We're returning on Thursday 7th.
Maybe see you on the road somewhere.

Another group

4 of us going next week on 23rd Mar.

Return 17 April in time for Lands End.

Looks like Morocco is going to be a bit crowded for the next couple of weeks..

Leaving 26th April for three weeks. Four of us going 1x KTM950, 2x Africa Twins and me on the 1200. Travelling down to, just South of, Madrid by van then onward by bike.

Four of us going 1 May for 10 days: myself on R1200GS, Shrek2 and Dfor on 1150GSA, and Nick on F650GSD.

Any trip reports? considering heading that way shortly on my F650GS, will standard Tourances be sufficient?

Depends upon where you go and what you tackle. The first time I went in 1972 on a Triumph/BSA hybrid I had ordinary tyres. The roads were obviously not as good as today, but there again I stuck to tarmac.

This year we're planning to do quite a bit of pistes (unsurfaced roads/tracks) with over 100 miles of them on one day. We've decided to stick TKC tyres on the bikes, but I think Tourances would be fine for much of the public tracks.
