After doing 80 miles on the road on my xr250 the other day I have decided I fancy something a bit larger and have a hankering for a Yamaha TTR600, anyone on here owned one and what are they like on the road and on the trail

Don't ask Tim:D

Just been out tonight on the road on my DRZ400S - A road at 65-70mph on the speedo, was a breeze, no vibes and super smooth

Lighter than a twin carb TTR600E

How about one of those?

Hi I have a ttr 600 its a cracking bike always puts a smile on my face ,just don't have time to make full use of it , I also have fancied the ccm 450 adventure for a while so am thinking of selling it plus a ktm and a beta to fund new bike plus make some room in the garage , may also let my vespa primavera 125 small frame go

I Rate them :thumby:
The kick start proper version is the one I have, not too heavy, good suspension and good fuel range with the big tank
Starts fine once you get the knack too
The KTM proved to be a lot more troublesome

I've always loved my TTR. I have the kickstart version with the Ohlins suspension. It's a good tool on or off road.

I never use it anymore now I have kids and since buying a GSA earlier this year I do all my riding on that.

I'm going to sell it once the rear suspension is back from having a rebuild. Let me know if you would be interested.

Never let me down on Bilko's 2011 TAT.
