Electrics on 650's

Does anyone else have any trouble with switches on F650's - I bought a Dakar about a month ago, took it on a VERY long ride around the UK and Ireland, and now the Headlight Flash doesn't, and the brake light switch died today. Do BMW not fit weather resistant electrics on their bikes? I previously had two Honda's, neither of which had any trouble at all.

Anyone know any good fixes, or if my bike's just a bit of a lemon and I should take it back to Mr BMW and ask for a new one?!

A new bike for 2 failed switches? Go on then - I'll hold your coat...

Make sure you take your bike licence with you so they can give you a spanky new test bike to thrash while they replace the switch clusters under warranty.

Good idea pb - I think I'll pop down there on Tuesday straight after I've spoken to the inland revenue about my other little problem - I should be in the right sort of mood by then!
