Cannot install Basecamp or Garmin Express

Just tried installing both Basecamp & Garmin Express on my 32 bit Windows 7 laptop both fail.

Garmin Express gets to netfx45web then fails.
Basecamp comes up with your system does not have the required version of Microsoft.net framework...... it tries to install it but then I get Blocking Issues:
The .NET Framework 4.6 is not supported on this operating system.

It all installed fine on my works 64 bit Windows 7, even worked on my old Vista laptop.
Any help appreciated.

i believe you are trying to install the latest version, you may need to go back to an older version, try BaseCamp 4.2.5. and then try to update it.

Basecamp kept throwing a .NET error and I couldn't find .NET in Programs to uninstall/install, anyhoos...

This sorted it.

Thanks earlier version installed, still won't update, same error message, won't install Garmin Express either.
I did try the video link too.

I have a problem with Windows 7 updates, I can't turn it on and it may be due to me not having service pack 1.
I'm downloading that manually to see if that fixes it.

Upgraded to Windows 10 and Garmin Express has now installed and Basecamp has been updated. Thanks all for the help.
