Saga of Touratech Twin Headlights

I had a big bad ride from Shannon to West Cork the other day with my wife. The Touratech headlights took a stone and both headlights are broken.

No the stone was not that big, but unfortunatly the twin headlights are in fact just one moulded lupm behind the alloy facia with two bulbs.

So have to get the whole thing replaced, and here was me thinking just needed a 4" bulb....

BTW used silicon to hold them all together whilst I sort out a replacement.

Is this a good idea or are there other ways.

I think matron's got a old LHD one - probly be ok for irish driving ?
