:nono The wife bought me an hydraulic lift for my birthday last year.

Is there any reason why it can't be used on a R1150GS ?

Any precautions or advice ?

Cheers.

yes when using the lift be carefull it doesnt push u too high,, i find if i use it to get up halfway then i can climb on the bike fairly easy,,

mind u its also just as easy to use the footpegs..

its up to u,,

ps would u not just use a ladder.. its cheaper..

I'd love one of them.

Anyway, what's the difference between a Giraffe and a hydraulic bike lift?
Ones got hydraulics and the other high bollocks.

Sure beats some socks & aftershave!

It was my 40th :banghead: I expect she will want me to say thank you or have sex as a token of appreciation.

I asked because I use it when cleaning my old bike. It helps to get these old bones underneath and speeds up cleaning wheels etc.

I forgot to look at the 1150GS if the frame covered the engine or does the engines/sump protrude below the frame? Has anyone used one?

The type of lift I mean is the hydraulic arms rather than the professional platform you see in garages.
