And I have for some years and about 40,000 miles

I am from the United States of Murica

Arkansas

i like the bike it handles well it easy to work on, and it seems to go anywhere I want to and be very durable and reliable while doing so.

Looking forward to learning much about people and bikes !

yes they are the best bikes going 1100 and 1150. no canbus bull shit and you can fix it with out plugging it in to a pc

You did not ask, but here is more.

i like to camp, fish, hike.

While my preference is hammocks, I take a tent just about as often.
I prefer alky stoves, but I have various others ( MSR, coleman, butane, yadda yadda)

you could dang near consider me a collector of tents, chainsaws and coleman stoves, at any given time I probably have several of each..

I once knocked the hockey puck off of my kick stand going over a rock ledge...

My son recently bought an R1100GS which I helped him service a few weeks ago. Nice bike to work on and when I test rode it afterwards it was even nicer to ride. If the right one came up at the right time I would buy one, in fact if my son ever wants to get ride of his it will probably end up in my garage.
