help - urgent quick fix required to cover headlamp

Going on Hopp Rider training day at Cadwell Park on Weds AM.
They insist that headlight must be turned off or blacked out.
Suggest remove fuse but manual says there is no furebox as such. Would taping over headlamp cause any problems??.
Don't have much time. Can anybody suggest a quick fix. What could I attach to the black bar below so I could attach a block of some kind over the headlight???

Just look up the inside of the binnacle and you can easily pull off the connectors on the back of the lamp units.

( I know 'cos one of mine's come off at the moment and it's jussitting there waiting to be plugged back on)

so that'll be 4 GS's there then , should be fun p***ing off the jap riders we're stopping in Louth at the Priory tomorrow night if your up for a pint or two see you there
