Hi everyone.
I am not actually, as I type, a GS owner yet but soon will be. I have been around bikes for 20 years or so until a short break for the last couple of years.
Having owned mainly sports bikes the GS has not previously appealed to me at all until recently when talking to an owner and looking at his GS Adventure. Amongst other things I plan on some touring across Europe towards the end of this summer for a week or two and simply cant see a better bike to do it on than the 1200GS.
I have found a fair bit of info from this site along with some comical banter so fingers crossed i'll have one soon and will update (bore) you with the details.
