I've got a GS with a TT mount for the 2610 and am picking up an 1150 RT tomorrow. Does anyone here know of a mount so that I can also use my 2610 on the RT as well?

Jon - I have used a black 8mm BMW mirror stalk in the redundant mirror hole next to the clutch reservoir. Removed the mirror bit which exposes a 4mm thread on the end of the stalk and screwed on a 1" RAM ball (you have to rethread it's 2mm thread out to 4mm). The stalk is then rotated inboard and you now have a mount that is infinitely adjustable, puts the GPS above instument level and as near the bike's centreline as you want without the antenna fouling your new screen! You will see it at Beaulieu on the 17th

Another 'trick' I favour here is use a RAM-B-252 mirror base mount with your RAM arm and diamond base that then attaches to the underside of the TT. I have used the B-252 several times and is also favoured by the RT boys in blue, as well.

.. take a look at the R1100RT in this US gallery http://www.cycoactive.com/gps/gallery/bmw_gpsmount.html

Ram-man, I looked at that link and I like the look of this setup.
Is 040-0650 a Ram part?
I guess I just attach a TT mount of choice onto this rail.

''040-0650 adaqpter shown installed on R1150RT.

Accepts 065-0022, 065-0035, 065-0032, 065-0039, 065-0056, 065-0065. 065-0066. It is more suited for the sideways-screen Garmins such as GPS III/V and StreetPilot series and 2610. Because of the low profile, angle adjust is not very good with vertical-configuration GPSs such as GPS76. Pleaase note that 065-0067 and 065-0068 do not fit well with this mount."

No - its a TT part, their RT bracket adaptor .

The trick I mentioned using the RAM-B-252 is what they refer to as ball joint adaptor (clamp bolt) 068 -0014 . The TT cradle attaches to the RAM diamond base when TT cable clamps are removed, so its a hybrid of TT and RAM parts.
