more fuel?

There was a thread sometime back, about getting more fuel into the standard GS tank (2 litres), by means of drilling holes around the inside of the filler neck, or changing the filler neck from a different model, like an 1150R or similar, can anyone remember?

I've had this mod done. It isn't designed to let you put more fuel in, as anything above the bottom of the filler neck will probably vent out through the overflow. What it does is allow you to fill your tank without having to keep on stopping & starting due to airlocks forming (it allows the air to escape through the sides of the neck).

I'll have a hunt on the web for the instructions I used.
