Can I fit a Remus Y piece and retain the original BMW end can

Hi,

I would like to know if I can fit a remus exhaust but retain the standar end can ?

If this is possible, is the part I need a 'y' piece, and doues this part replace the big box with the cat fitted to it under the gearbox, and how much do they cost?

Any advice would be really appreciated

Or a 1200

But the mention of the "big box" makes me suspect this is an 1150, the 12's cat is a relatively small affair.

Andy, in your profile it says you own an 1100, if you do then the answers no you can't. The whole exhaust (apart from the down pipes) is one piece.

I've already got my coat, they are, of course, right. My response only applies to an 1150................
