Eastbourne's 'Airbourne' show has been in full swing yesterday and today and carries on over this weekend. In addition to the static displays on the Western Lawns, this is the schedule of flybys.

Saturday

1320 Blue Eagles army helicopter team
1405 KC-135 Stratotanker
1445 Eurofighter Typhoon
1520 Boeing 757 freighter
1625 Mk XIV Spitfire
1630 Harrier GR7

plus Jaguar GR3, F16, Wingwalkers, Merlin, Fouga Magister, Tutor, Chinook and more

Sunday

Where's the best place to view it from? Do you have to into the town and down by the seafront? or is there somewhere out of town... say up on the cliffs somewhere you can get a good view?
 
might take the GS over for a look-see and take some piccys...
 
My fav is the F16, also if going try and go up in the helicopter. I am bias as its from the company I fly with!!! :thumb
 
sorry tim, nearly followed another rider form shaws down there while seeking the ulyssess mith.

we went for the fish and chips inside.

not yet but we seem to have a problem with hair :mmmm

ps the fish and chips at the britannia pub are very good and the road back to rye is a good leaner. (past camber sands).
