Blanked off silencer

Has anyone drilled or otherwise the blanked off silencer??
Fancy trying it but dont have the balls!!

From what I gather, it only makes the standard exhaust sound meatier. Very little if any improvement. If you really want to try it though, I suggest you wait until one opos up on Ebay. Buy it for nearly nothing and drill the hell out of it
