Adventure beak on std 1150

I have seen quite a few GS's with the black beak extension which I think is from the Adventure. How is it fitted and roughly how much are they?

Is it just me, but i think they look better without?

It's just you.

It's on my wish list, OK it's somewhere on my wish list.

SPC quoted me somewhere about "only £47", needless to say I didn't take up their offer, probably go to CW in Dorchester.

Wish list, is that like a letter to santa?
I just picked up my Adv today and will soon be swopping beaks for my old plain GS one

Aha, endorsed by a man of good taste.

My general preferences for a goodlooking GS, are also MRA screen, Corbin two piece seat and...

I suppose I could be persuaded to take this piece of scrap from you?

Thirty quid to make it look like a two wheeled 'Chelsea Tractor'

I find this very hard to believe.

Andy, the parts guy, can tell you it's under £30 including the fixing kit.

For some reason, Eliminator seems to have a major 'down' on SPC.

Now now, stop bickering.

The retail price is £35.32 inc VAT (£30.06 ex VAT)

You may be able to twist the arm of your local dealer on the price of course.

Parts required are:

16 11 7 655 288 (x2) Screw

I fitted it on my 1150. I think it looks good but it's all down to personal choice. I got the kit from Vines and with the fixing kit came to about £35.

That matches the kit I got. All you need is some gaffer tape to secure the extension in place, an electric drill and a large set of bollocks as you punch six holes into the beak of your beloved bike :D

The whole job (or is that hole-job?) takes about 15 minutes and the result IMHO is superb.

Thanks folks, I reckon that on my Silver 1150, where silver or light grey dominates everywhere, it would balance the black of the seat and remove some of the er....silveryness, and I think they look cool.

It's not a downer, that's what the :tosser told me. I had a vague idea of the price beforehand. I was as  as you are :ymca

Blues & twos, your lights are upside down.
