fixing my left hand heated grip. it went cold some time ago, and its soooooo annoying to have one working and one not.
Carefully removed the rubber (its glued at both ends only), and the broken wire was obvious. used a bit of shimming copper to form a sleeve, soldered the wires into it and carefully put the rubber back on (ooer), jobs a good un.
Previous threads have been a bit fatalistic on this, but it can be done, and save £60
