North Island New Zealand Akatarawa Forest Traverse - Sat 21 Jan 06

Greetings - this is my first post so am still learning. Photos below are of a Saturday afternoon ride 3 of us did near NZ's capital Wellington in the Akatarawa Forest. The trail is dead easy for young bucks on KTM's several flew past us (literally) at the summit. On the larger GS's it can be somewhat challenging especially after rain - deep four wheel drive ruts on steep clay inclines! I was grateful to my two pals for helping me heave my 1150GS up the steep bank on a couple of the exits from streams - thanks Ian and Garry
